Installation

[Run the installer, or copy Starchart.vst3 to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Rescan plugins in your DAW.]

Activation

Open the licence panel, paste your licence key, give this computer a name such as "Studio PC" (it's shown in your licence emails so you can tell computers apart, so avoid personal names) and click Activate. For a computer without internet access, use offline activation (see Support).

Controls

Motion

Motion sets the space moving: lines drift across the stereo field, wander and breathe. Depending on the seed, some lines also get a slow flange (a metallic comb sweeping through the tail) and others a phaser (a softer swirl of a few broad notches). A seed can have both, but never on the same line. At Motion 0 nothing moves. On the Advanced page, each line's Flange and Phaser amounts and rates can be changed; a line given both keeps its flange.
